Ophthalmology

Eyemed

Eyemed, a growing ophthalmology clinic network, was struggling with an overwhelmed reception staff. With thousands of appointments to confirm each month, receptionists spent most of their time on repetitive phone calls instead of assisting patients in-clinic. Missed calls led to no-shows, wasted doctor time, and declining patient satisfaction scores. Hiring more staff was costly and didn't solve the root problem — the work was fundamentally repetitive and didn't require human judgment.
